The central idea was to develop a portable lamp that is both visually and tactilely soft. The project uses the material fleece in an inspiring and innovative way. Both the lampshade and the cylindrical body are made of 3 mm thick, 3D-molded form fleece. This haptically pleasant material is sound-absorbing and creates a cozy atmosphere.

The portable light was presented as part of the 12th Becker Design Forum at Interzum fair 2025. Becker presented ten innovative designs made of molded wood, solid wood and molded fleece. 144 designers from all over the world took part in the competition. One of the highlights was the rechargeable Shell lamp.
