Combining visual lightness with tactile softness — Shell is a rechargeable table lamp that explores the creative potential of nonwoven materials. Both the base and the shade are made of 3 mm molded fleece, giving the lamp a soft, pleasant haptics and sculptural clarity.

The inner layer of the shade features two layers of white fleece, enhancing light reflection even when the outer color is dark. The result is a lightweight yet expressive object that brings warmth and innovation to any setting.

The portable lamp was presented as part of the 12th Becker Design Forum at Interzum fair 2025. Becker presented ten innovative designs made of molded wood, solid wood and molded fleece. 144 designers from all over the world took part in the competition. One of the highlights was the Shell lamp.
