Manufactured by Flensted Mobiles in 2019

The mobile is a new interpretation of ‘Science Fiction’ which commemorates the founder of Flensted Mobiles, Christian Flensted. Due to its specific construction, the ellipses are constantly moving, while the mobile as an entity is always harmonically balanced. Upon illumination, the ellipses produce fascinating shadows on the surrounding walls and ceiling. It interprets the interplay of planets and stars in the universe. The ellipses are made of laser cut black anodized aluminium and carefully hand-assembled by expert workers in Denmark; 21,5 x 51 cm, large 43 x 102 cm.
